An Homage to Alpha Phi Omega

Welcome, brethren!

This blogsite is my personal homage to Alpha Phi Omega – the great fraternity founded by our revered Brother Frank Reed Horton on 16 December 1925. I consider this blog as my personal testament to the life-shaping influence that Alpha Phi Omega has had on me. I do this to acknowledge the fact that the principles and virtues I learned in Alpha Phi Omega have become the solid bedrock upon which my character rests.

In this blog, I intend to write ideas and thoughts pertaining to Alpha Phi Omega and its tremendous potential to serve humankind and make this world a better place for this generation and for posterity. In most cases, my posts will likely cover how Alpha Phi Omega in the Philippines could be a catalyst for change in a country that at present is riven by hopelessness and despair about the future.

For the most part, I will be blogging from the perspective of my experience being a Thetan albeit this ought not preclude me from touching on topics where Alpha Phi Omega’s potential impact on a national scale is of relevance.

I hope that every brother and sister who visits this blog, especially my fellow Thetans, finds in himself or herself a rekindled commitment to live true to the Alpha Phi Omega ideals that we learned during our college years.

May we always be!
