My name is Mark Francis Cura Hamoy and, if you are a member of the Alpha Phi Omega, then I am your brother.
I was initiated in Theta Chapter at the University of the Philippines – Los Baños and later earned the privilege of receiving the solemn ritual of the Alpha Phi Omega.
In the seven years I spent as a collegiate resident at Theta Chapter, I served first as Keeper of the Rolls. I eventually gained the trust and confidence of my fellow Thetans to later be elected as Wielder of the Whip and then Auxiliary Chancellor.
Ultimately, I found myself receiving the great privilege of serving as Theta Chapter’s Grand Chancellor for 1990-1991, with Bro. Romulo C. Relador, Jr. as my Prime Chancellor and Bro. Noel Ezekiel A. Sotto as my Auxiliary Chancellor.
I received a message from my classmate that Romulo Relador “Mulong” died of heart attack recently. If this is of any help, my condolence. Please extend my prayers to his family and wish for his eternal repose. G-d keep him…
